Open Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Positions (Start Fall 2020 and Spring 2021):

Our lab has open Ph.D. positions (fully funded) in the area of urban resilience, network science, and informatics. These positions are interdisciplinary (not limited to civil engineering students). Interested candidates from civil engineering, industrial/systems engineering, operations research, computer science/engineering,  network science, applied mathematics and other related disciplines are encouraged to apply. Depending upon the background of successful candidates, they may enroll in the Ph.D. program in either Civil Eng. or the Interdisciplinary Engineering program of the College of Engineering at Texas A&M. Open Interdisciplinary Post-doctoral Research Associate Position (Start before Jan 2021):

We have an open position for a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the UrabanResilience.AI Lab at Texas A&M University (Zachry Department of Civil Engineering). We welcome applications from various related disciplines such as network science, data science, intelligent systems, applied mathematics, system engineering, operations research, and civil engineering. Looking for a candidate with strong background in Urban Resilience and Complex Networks (Network Science) with solid data analytics and computational modeling skills + a strong record of scholarly publications + the ability to lead multiple sponsored research projects. The position will start before January 2021 and will be for the duration of two years. Interested candidates should send a detailed CV and sample publications to: amostafavi@civil.tamu.edu.
