Jacky is a postdoctoral researcher at UrbanResilience.AI Lab. He got his Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and his B.S. from Wuhan University. His research interests mainly include GeoAI, spatial big data analytics, human mobility, and a broader application of artificial intelligence in geography and urban analytics He holds the opinion that few things can not be attained by combining knowledge and self-discipline. Besides research, he is also very enthusiastic about reading and fitness.

Dr. Hongrak Pak
Hongrak Pak, a collaborative postdoctoral researcher at both the UrbanResilience.AI Lab and the Institute for a Disaster Resilient Texas (IDRT), earned his Ph.D. from the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University in 2023. His doctoral research focused on addressing limitations within traditional ML models and developing innovative transfer learning models within the realm of structural engineering. Building upon his prior expertise, his current research is centered around harnessing advanced machine learning techniques for infrastructure and urban resilience.
