Lauren Moran

Allison is an undergraduate civil engineering major and project management minor at Texas A&M University from Houston, Texas. She began her research at the UrbanReslience.AI Lab in October 2021. Her research is focused on using crowdsourced data to better understand flash flood resilience in terms of environmental and social factors. Additionally, she serves on the Student Engineers’ Council Executive Council as Professional Trip Co-Chair, and she is a Civil Engineering Ambassador for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. In the future, she hopes to help develop more sustainable water resources infrastructure systems. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, playing sports, doing graphic design, and playing board games with friends and family.

Annie Bone

Shurui is an undergraduate Computer Science Honors student at Texas A&M University. He began his research at the UrbanReslience.AI Lab in August 2022. He has interests in Machine Learning and Data Analysis and is pursuing a Minor in Mathematics. After graduating in the fall of 2024, he plans to pursue a master's degree in the future. In his free time, he likes to play the piano and learn about new computers and parts technologies.

Matthew McGee

Matthew is a Senior in civil engineering. He is on the geotechnical track within the major, and plans to graduate in the fall of 2024. After graduation, he will commission into the Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant. He is currently in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M, and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers. He grew up in Bryan, loves A&M and its traditions, and is a second generation Aggie. After his time in the Marines, Matthew plans to return to College Station to either pursue graduate school or work locally.  In his free time, Matthew likes to read, work out, play guitar, and watch movies with friends.

Lauren Stapleton

Lauren Stapleton is a junior in civil engineering on the environmental track. Lauren joined the urban resilience lab in January 2022. Before working in this lab, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Dallas Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Center. At Texas A&M she is a member of Civil and Environmental Engineering Ambassadors as well as the Club Equestrian Team and Zachry Leadership Program. She also works on campus as a group fitness instructor at the Rec Center where she teaches cycle, dance, kickboxing, and barre classes. When Lauren is not working or studying, she can be found spending time enjoying the outdoors or tending to her houseplants.

In her spare time, Ana enjoys practicing mindfulness, spending time with her friends and family, and building her LEGO collection.

Sara is an undergraduate civil engineering & project management student here at Texas A&M University. She began her research at the UrbanResilience.AI Lab in January of 2020. She conducts research on disaster data computation and analytics with the social media and well-being disparity group. She has been involved in the SWELites leadership program and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Her passions include learning new languages, spending time with friends and family, and traveling the world.

Navya Mittal

Navya is a sophomore pursuing a degree in computer science with an emphasis in statistics and a minor in mathematics at Texas A&M. She is skilled in Python and SQL among other languages and has operating system troubleshooting and IT knowledge at her fingertips. She is involved in research at the Physics department too and has built several scientific demonstrations as part of the Discover, Explore and Enjoy Physics & Engineering (DEEP) organization. Her other on-campus involvements include Freshman Aggies Ladies Leading, a freshman leadership organization, Aggie Coding Club and Aggie Women in Computer Science. She is always up for a chat over coffee or boba!
